Before embarking on this new journey, I had many doubts and questions; I was unsure what to expect from this Master’s. During the duration of these courses, I experienced worrying and stressful moments, but simultaneously, I experienced an essential change in my mindset. Now, I see challenges as new opportunities for growth. Without a doubt, making the determination to take the ADL Program has been one of the decisions I’ve made in my life.
I am very grateful and blessed to have a fantastic team that makes me feel confident about my work in the ADL Program. Collaborating with them has allowed me to learn from their experience, exchange ideas, and learn from different points of view.
My team members are Desiree and Doyna. They are incredibly positive teachers with unique characteristics and work styles. I value their support and contributions to helping me grow and learn during these eight weeks.
Lucky for us, we teach in the same school, so we sat down and made a plan that could help us work as a team in an organized and efficient manner. We decided to have a weekly meeting to discuss homework and any questions about the classes. We formed a chat to exchange information, share files, and provide feedback to adjust and improve our work.
Besides being successful in the ADL Program, our objective is to instill in our students the love of learning and enable them to reach their full potential by creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Since the beginning of the courses, I’ve been trying to stay on top of the videos and resources shared with us, but honestly, sometimes, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of information we had to read. I participated in all of our weekly classes with Dr. Harapnuik except for one, and I enjoyed reading and participating in the discussions. It helped me better understand topics and what I learned from others.

Doyna has contributed her expertise and ideas to improving our writing skills while working on a document.
I am in charge of providing links and information that support our investigations.
Our weekly meetings have helped us stay organized, informed, and focused on our goals.
Our WhatsApp group allows us to enhance collaboration, share updates and reminders, answer questions, and make quick contributions.
Skills Development
Improving my skills can lead to personal and professional growth, expanding my knowledge, and improved performance in the classroom. Some areas I would like to improve are:
Time management: I want to balance my schoolwork, the ADL Program, and my personal life.
Organization: I would like to be more organized, keeping track of the assignments, and deadlines.
Writing skills: I would like to improve my writing skills in English, mainly because it is my second language.
Technology: Since we live in a digital era, it is essential to have knowledge and skills in technology, which plays an important role in our lives and society.
Group Improvements
Time management: We need to improve our time management by focusing on the topics discussed in our weekly meetings.
Be ready with ideas and strategies to reach our goal.
Calendar: we can create a calendar to help us be more organized and keep track of homework and deadlines.
