Team collaboration, often perceived as straightforward, is a complex process. Interacting with individuals who bring diverse perspectives, opinions, and ideas can be challenging in any professional context. However, I am grateful for my team, as we have supported each other and built trust, fostering a genuine bond.

Our journey of team collaboration has been marked by dedication and occasional stress. We invested numerous hours and sometimes felt overwhelmed by the workload. However, our perseverance paid off as we successfully produced high-quality work that benefits educators and ourselves in enhancing our teaching skills.

As I developed my learning philosophy, I had the opportunity to examine many of my teaching practices. I noticed that I had many preconceived ideas about education and learning, and I saw that these ideas needed to change to benefit my students and help them reach their goals.

Throughout our conversation on Dr. Grogan’s topic of Learning Environments, team members shared various thoughts and perspectives regarding the ideal learning environment for students. I learned that my teaching and learning methods are more Constructivist (Learning Theories, 2020). Constructivism is a philosophy based on the idea that people actively construct or create their knowledge and that reality is determined by their experiences as learners. Learners use their previous knowledge as a foundation and build on it with new things they learn.

We reviewed and discussed the remaining tasks for the two courses in separate meetings.

Regarding leadership, I took the initiative to prepare for each meeting by conducting thorough research and sharing my findings with my colleagues. I actively participated in each conference, offering my insights and opinions.

Doyna was a significant asset because she conducted thorough Internet research and shared her discoveries with the group. She was also knowledgeable about the subject and skilled at composing the PL.

Desiree’s experience at PL was invaluable to the group; she coordinated essential meetings and dates.

Each group member assumed a leadership position, offering their particular expertise and talents to ensure the accomplishment of our assignments.

I actively participated in the Blackboard conversations by publishing on the designated days and leaving comments on my Master's program colleagues' writings.
