What have you gained from your learning experience in this program thus far?

I enrolled in the ADL program during the spring, and my learning experience has been enriched with multiple opportunities to learn, practice, and apply knowledge in diverse ways. It has not been easy for me since, for the first time, I am taking ownership of my learning, and honestly, it took me outside of my comfort zone and experimented with unfamiliar territory. However, I have been learning about the growth mindset, concepts of the Golden Circle, and the Six Sources of Influence, and thanks to that, I now see change as an opportunity instead of a burden.

How will you incorporate elements of the COVA model into your portfolio?

I'm implementing the COVA—choice (C), ownership (O), and voice (V) through authentic (A) learning opportunities.

Choice: I was able to choose the platform for my e-portfolio.

Ownership: I can customize the website's appearance by adding my elements.

Voice: I can express my experiences, reflections, and personal insights.

Authentic Learning: While working on my innovation plan, I can apply my knowledge in a relevant and meaningful way directly connected to a real-life context. Also, I am fostering a deeper understanding and preparing for future challenges.

What factors would contribute to ePortfolio persistence beyond your program of study?

Reflective Practice: Adding reflections to the ePortfolio about obstacles, growth, and learning experiences will promote continuous professional development and self-evaluation.

Alignment with Career Goals: Integrating elements in the ePortfolio that showcase skills and experiences directly related to career aspirations.

Networking and Community Engagement: Using the ePortfolio to establish connections with graduates, professionals in related fields, mentors, and peers can help build enduring relationships and opportunities for mentoring, career growth, and cooperation.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned thus far in the program?

The most valuable lesson I have learned is the importance of having a growth mindset. This mindset teaches us to embrace challenges and learn from our mistakes. It will help me not only in my professional practice but also in my daily life.
