As I embarked on the DLL program at Lamar University, I quickly realized the transformative potential of technology tools in teaching, especially when paired with thoughtful planning. My exploration of technology-enhanced education led me to the concept of blended learning and, ultimately, to developing an in-class blended learning environment for my students. Language acquisition—encompassing listening, speaking, reading, and writing—progresses at different rates for each student, particularly in dual-language classrooms. My research showed that the Blended Learning Station Rotation Model can empower students to focus on the most challenging skills while still benefitting from the advantages of direct teacher interaction.

As I continue my master’s journey, I feel a responsibility to share what I’ve learned through the implementation of my innovation plan. The blended learning station rotation model has proven to be a practical framework for encouraging individualized learning while maintaining community and support for in-person instruction. I am now exploring opportunities to write an online article to contribute my findings and experiences to the growing body of research on blended learning.

Teaching is the art of nurturing minds, igniting curiosity, and shaping futures. It’s a canvas where passion meets knowledge, and every stroke of guidance leaves an indelible mark on the world. 🌟
