My learning experience
Upon completing my Bachelor's Degree in 2006, Two months later, I began a new challenge, my master's degree in “educational psychology.” I knew I was doing this to boost my profession since I knew that upon finishing it, I could obtain better benefits within the educational field. Little did I anticipate that nearly two decades later, I'd embark on a new journey: pursuing another master's degree in a foreign language, delving into a subject both novel and veiled by obscurity.
Opting for a Master's in Applied Digital Learning has proven to be a cornerstone decision, undoubtedly the most rewarding educational investment I've made. I learned that disruptive innovation in education, being emphasized and adapted, focuses on the student and the strategic integration of technology to improve learning outcomes and prepare students for the future, with the Commitment to foster collaboration and implement innovative practices to create a more inclusive and effective educational system.
I would like to implement an innovative proposal with a time-bound implementation over a period of one year. During this time, I will focus on applying the blended learning station rotation in dual language kindergarten.
Exploring Mindset literature, immersing myself in the pages of the seminal work "Blended" by Horn and Staker, crafting educational videos, delving into weeks of scholarly research, absorbing copious feedback, mastering APA standards, and realizing I've inadvertently been employing COVA principles with my students—all of these experiences from the initial two courses have left an indelible mark
.
However, the journey ahead stretches far and wide, with eight more courses waiting and a wealth of knowledge to assimilate. I am excited and committed to applying every ounce of newfound wisdom to benefit the learning experiences of my bilingual kindergarten students.
