Personally, I have always been inclined to solve challenges and difficult situations. I find them exciting. As professionals, we face the constant challenge of updating and polishing our skills and knowledge. Failure to do so would cost us being relegated to the background in our institutions.
Adopting a growth mindset is crucial for personal and professional development. People with a growth mentality are more likely to view obstacles as chances for personal development than as dangers to their competence. They are inclined to embrace challenges, reach beyond their comfort zone, and persevere through obstacles, increasing their education and proficiency.
A growth mindset encourages a lifelong desire to learn and improve. People who believe that they can improve their skills via intelligent effort and practice are more inclined to seek out opportunities for learning, feedback, and self-improvement. This leads to increased adaptation, invention, and expertise. Individuals with these characteristics develop resilience and persistence when faced with difficulties.
My goal as an elementary teacher is to provide a significant learning environment where my students can develop critical thinking skills and become problem solvers. To reach this goal, we have to incorporate the effective use of technology in our classrooms. The objective is to use technology as a means for teaching and training, but not as the end per se. I think that many teachers forget that technology is a means; it is not the end. This is the reason why there is a great need to integrate blended learning alongside the COVA approach when incorporating technology in our classrooms.
