To tell you the truth, this will be the first time I will build an ePortfolio to showcase and share my professional practice and reflections as an educator. Applying the learner's mindset approach to my own will be a learning experience that will enable me to connect with other educators from different fields. I am considering how an ePortfolio could be implemented in an elementary classroom. How will the use of it facilitate students' interconnecting of academic content among subjects? How it will assist them in collaborating. I will be exploring ways how to start implementing creative writing working stations, where my students will use digital resources such as but not limited to Book Creator Prezi for them to elaborate engaging presentations, where they not only have to write their opinions and findings but at the same time, they will also share visual images, videos. They will be creating their digital journal. Could that be a starting point for introducing my second graders to the portfolio concept? So, when they become fourth and fifth graders, they will have developed a voice and self-interested choices.
